Great effort and production to preserve the spirit of old Kampar. I grew up here as a child in the 70s and always have very fond memories of this town.

偶然看到此视频，优质流畅的镜头剪接，尤其访问老金宝人的人情味对话，令我这1960-62年在培元读初中的男生，特别感动震撼！是的，还记得当年晚上华灯初上时，大家金宝人都走出来大街上，从一头走到另一头走回来，中间在众多小吃档品尝各式美味，有机会时去七记或黄瑞明大快朵颐，是最佳的晚间节目，太想念当时的幸福气氛了！非常感谢你们这么有心而且珍贵的制作！

Kampar has two main roads:Jalan Idris,crowded with people in evening, &Jalan Gopeng ( not old road of old town .Pls do some homework)).Before centralisation,food &fruits stores by the side of small road & lanes Old pasar was crowded amongst food & vegetables stalls.As regards to four theatres included:Rex(Lai Si) by SB,Choong San built by Eu Tong Seng (current Eu Yan Sang)which later replaced by buildings. Lok Kung that replaced Keng Fan.Opposite was May Far which later made way for building.Opposite KFC inside lane was Choong Nam which later turned into Chinese Opera Hall,later also made way for building.These were the four theatres.There was also one more in Jalan Gopeng opposite Public Girls Primary School,Majestic Theatre. Pls refer more food stalls to promote Tourism rather than referring old shops which remain History TQ
